Our Work & Commitment

In 2020, Maricela Ehmann, Creative Director of Ehmann Events, partnered with Michelle Boleski and Alison Ellis to start the Wedding and Event Vendor Alliance. WEVA is a non-profit organization that advocates for growth, diversity and inclusion in the wedding and event industry. Maricela is the Executive Director and Board President of the organization. Some of her goals while holding these positions are to amplify the voices of BIPOC/LGBTQIA vendors, create any industry mentoring and internship programs, and build a unified plan for the industry to prepare and recover from environmental emergencies.
